Bevan Brittan

Bevan Brittan is a national law firm with offices in London, Bristol and Birmingham. Valuing diversity is at the heart of our culture and our Diversity Working Group is engaged in a number of initiatives internally and within the communities within which we work.

We are working with Cotham to help improve the efficiency of their inclusion team. We have assisted them in redesigning the process by which students are referred to the team, and have helped in setting up a system to agree targets and timescales at the time of referral, enabling the student to be released from the inclusion team once the targets have been met.

Part of our diversity programme involves bringing Cotham students into our business on work experience. In addition, we are setting up a program of sporting events with them and are looking into a scheme whereby their management team can visit their counterparts here to discuss developments in their relevant disciplines, for example, finance and HR.
