Deloitte's Community Investment Programme is now in its eighth year. It supports a wide variety of charities and community organisations, placing a special emphasis on supporting the young and disadvantaged. Deloitte donates the professional time of its staff and currently there there are over 300 Deloitte volunteers working across a range of 9 projects - including school mentoring and work with the Prince's Trust and Young Enterprise - totalling to more than 13,000 hours contributed each year.

In the South West, we currently have 17 volunteers mentoring pupils at Henbury school in Bristol. Our employees mentor the students during their GCSE year with a view to encouraging them to achieve their full potential and, in turn, helping them to meet their career aspirations. This is seen as a long term programme which we intend to develop, with more volunteers joining throughout the year.
