Schools need to engage businesses earlier (during curriculum planning) so that events are tailored by both parties.

How the programme works

Businesses provide a named point of contact and complete an interview with ABLAZE to determine scale and scope of potential enrichment activities.

Businesses are introduced to member of school staff who has a need for support from the business.

Activities can be as simple as providing a role model to speak in school assembly

Head Teacher is informed and sanctions the activity

Training and support

Examples of projects completed for both Primary and Secondary schools are available.

ABLAZE will provide guidance and if necessary provide additional management and co-ordination.
